If you do not know the Schleiger number (or Head number for Charles Field Haviland), you may mail a color photograph of the front and back of a dinner/luncheon plate. Smaller items (such as a saucer or sauce dish) do not always contain enough of a pattern to be easily identified. A black/white Xerox of the item may also be mailed if the pattern detail is clear enough for identification. With a black/white submission, please describe major colors of the pattern and note any gold decoration. A JPEG of the pattern may also be e-mailed to me at caldwell@havilandmatcher.com.
